Swarmer has promoted Garrett Kasper to Chief Communications Officer and reassigned responsibilities across its senior leadership team.
Kasper joined the drone autonomy software company as Vice President of Communications and Marketing in December 2025.
He will continue overseeing global marketing, corporate communications and branding as Swarmer expands its operations.
Kasper has approximately 30 years of communications experience across defense, aerospace, intelligence, cybersecurity, transportation, biotechnology and healthcare.
Before joining Swarmer, he managed external communications for several L3Harris Technologies programs, including the VAMPIRE counter-drone system used in Ukraine.
Kasper began his career as a U.S. Navy public affairs officer and completed more than 500 media embarkations during operations in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.
He retired from the Navy Reserve as a captain in June 2026.
As part of the leadership realignment, Global CEO Serhii Kupriienko will lead Swarmer Labs, a newly established research and innovation division.
Swarmer Labs will focus on next-generation AI and autonomous systems for battlefield applications.
Alexander Fink will continue serving as U.S. CEO and President while assuming oversight of human resources, finance and operations. He will report directly to Swarmer’s board.
Swarmer develops hardware-independent software that allows a single operator to coordinate large numbers of unmanned platforms.
The company said its technology has supported more than 100,000 combat missions in Ukraine since its first deployment in April 2024.
