Sweet Security has raised $75 million in Series B funding led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from Munich Re Ventures, Glilot Capital Partners, and Key1 Capital. The new investment brings the company’s total funding to $120 million. It will accelerate global expansion, product innovation, and customer adoption for its unified Runtime CNAPP platform across cloud and AI environments.
The Tel Aviv–based company, known for pioneering real-time cloud and AI protection, has introduced new AI security capabilities to secure models, agents, and the whole AI lifecycle. This expansion aims to strengthen its leadership in the emerging Runtime CNAPP and AI security sectors.
Sweet Security’s momentum follows a year of rapid growth, with a sixfold increase in annual recurring revenue and a tenfold expansion of its enterprise customer base, which now includes multiple Fortune 1000 companies. The company recently received a U.S. patent for training large language models to identify anomalous log sessions. This capability significantly reduces noise and detects sophisticated multi-step attacks that traditional rule-based systems often miss.
As enterprises increasingly adopt agentic AI workflows, Sweet’s new AI Security Platform (AISP) provides AI teams with comprehensive visibility into every model and agent, enabling them to detect vulnerabilities, manage permissions, and assess risk across complex AI systems. The platform maps AI agents, LLM servers, and related services to uncover shadow AI, detect prompt injection attacks, analyze real-time agent behavior, and enforce guardrails without slowing development.
With these capabilities, Sweet Security enables organizations to secure both cloud-native and AI-powered environments through real-time insights, anomaly detection, and automated posture management. Its runtime-driven approach combines cloud, data, workload, and AI security under a unified protection layer—offering enterprises a resilient foundation for AI innovation.
Founded by Dror Kashti (CEO), Eyal Fisher (CPO), and Orel Ben Ishay (VP of R&D), Sweet Security continues to redefine how global enterprises protect cloud and AI workloads. The company is privately held and backed by Evolution Equity Partners, Munich Re Ventures, Glilot Capital Partners, CyberArk Ventures, and Key1 Capital.
KEY QUOTES:
“Sweet Security stands out in one of the most competitive segments of cybersecurity.”
“The company’s ability to combine real-time cloud protection with AI-powered intelligence is unlike anything else in the market – redefining how enterprises secure the modern cloud and go about securing their AI environments.”
Richard Seewald, Founder and Managing Partner, Evolution Equity Partners
“No one else approaches runtime cloud and AI protection the way we do. Cloud attacks no longer follow predictable patterns; they evolve dynamically, just like the AI systems enterprises are now building. Protecting those environments demands real-time understanding of how models, agents, and workloads behave, not static snapshots of configurations.”
Dror Kashti, Co-Founder and CEO, Sweet Security
“Sweet Security has built a leading runtime cloud security offering, extending robust protection across cloud, data, workloads, and AI. This enables teams to secure both traditional and AI applications running in the cloud.”
James Berthoty, Latio Tech
