SWI Group announced an €800 million institutional capital increase at a €6.1 billion final valuation to accelerate the expansion of its transatlantic AI infrastructure and compute platform.
The Euronext Amsterdam-listed company said the financing was completed through the issuance of new ordinary shares in several series.
Following the transaction, SWI Group’s total share capital increases to 558,399,385 ordinary shares.
The latest capital increase brings the company’s total equity raised since March 2026 to more than €1 billion.
SWI Group said the new capital will support the continued development and scaling of its digital infrastructure and AI compute platform across Europe and the United States.
The proceeds are expected to fund data center development, AI compute capacity, power infrastructure, compute deployments, and execution of the company’s development pipeline on both sides of the Atlantic.
The financing is also intended to strengthen SWI Group’s balance sheet and provide additional financial capacity to execute its growth strategy at greater scale.
The company said it plans to use the capital for further investment in AI infrastructure and to increase its stakes in existing investments.
SWI Group is in the process of transforming its business around a broader transatlantic digital infrastructure and compute platform.
The company said the additional equity will help accelerate consolidation and expansion across its portfolio as demand for data center capacity and AI compute continues to grow.
The transaction also broadens SWI Group’s institutional shareholder base.
Following the financing, the company expects its free float to increase to approximately 20% of its share capital, which could also improve market liquidity.
Certain investors participating in the transaction were granted options related to their shares that are conditional on equity capital markets milestones.
SWI Group operates as a global digital investment platform with long-term holdings focused primarily on digital infrastructure.
The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam under the ticker SWICH.
