SWISSto12 Raises $70 Million Series C to Scale Satellite and Payload Manufacturing

By Amit Chowdhry • Jul 16, 2026

SWISSto12, a Swiss satellite and payload manufacturer founded in 2011 and headquartered in Renens, Switzerland, has closed a $70 million (€61 million) Series C to expand manufacturing and integration capacity in response to growing demand from commercial and sovereign government customers. The fundraise follows the company’s announcement of an $84.8 million (€73 million) award from European Space Agency member states to support development and in-orbit validation of HummingSat through the ARTES partnership program.

SWISSto12 reported $140 million (€121 million) in revenue for 2025, total contracted orders exceeding $500 million (€432 million), a 110% compound annual growth rate since 2022, and positive EBITDA in 2026. The company has secured seven contracts for its HummingSat geostationary small satellite platform with leading global operators including SES and Viasat, and has deployed more than 2,000 of its HummingLink multi-orbit payload and antenna solutions across active space missions.

The company operates across two primary product lines. HummingSat is a compact, proprietary geostationary satellite platform designed to serve commercial operators looking for a smaller, more cost-effective alternative to traditional large GEO satellites. HummingLink is a family of advanced payload and antenna solutions designed to work across multiple orbital regimes — geostationary, medium Earth orbit, and low Earth orbit — supporting a range of mission types including direct-to-device connectivity, media broadcasting, intersatellite data relays, and sovereign communications infrastructure. SWISSto12 leverages patented manufacturing technologies including 3D printing to produce these systems with greater design flexibility and production efficiency than conventional approaches.

Series C proceeds will fund scaling of manufacturing capacity and integration infrastructure to meet accelerating order flow across both product lines in commercial and government markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
