Sylmar Group: Acquisition Of Butler Water Corrections Expands Water Treatment Capabilities In The Northeast

Sylmar Group announced it has acquired Butler Water Corrections, a water treatment innovator based in New Jersey.

Founded in 1938, Butler Water Corrections built its business around environmentally responsible water treatment solutions focused on heating and cooling systems, food service equipment, and specialized industrial applications. The company is recognized for its work in cathodic protection and patented treatment technologies designed for institutional and commercial customers.

The acquisition combines Sylmar Group’s national industrial water treatment platform with Butler’s long-established customer service and technical expertise. The companies said the transaction will strengthen Sylmar’s capabilities in specialized water treatment applications and expand its offerings across education, hospitality, government, and industrial facilities throughout the Northeastern United States.

Sylmar said it plans to maintain Butler’s customer relationships and product lines while investing in additional resources to support future growth and product development as it expands its regional presence.
