Symmetry Laser has completed the acquisition of ArcRev, adding specialized laser cutting expertise and additional production capacity as it scales its precision manufacturing platform for the medical device industry.
The deal is designed to strengthen Symmetry Laser’s ability to support customers from early-stage development through high-volume production. The company said the combination expands technical capability, manufacturing capacity, and operational scale while improving support for complex medical device components.
ArcRev offers complementary laser-cutting technologies, experienced technical talent, and a culture centered on lean manufacturing. Symmetry Laser said those additions will help it accelerate product development, including typical prototype lead times of three to five days, while maintaining tight tolerances and consistent quality as programs scale.
Executives described the acquisition as a platform expansion aimed at improving speed and execution across customer programs. Symmetry Laser also emphasized continuity, stating ArcRev’s team and operations will continue without disruption, with employees remaining in place and joining the broader Symmetry Laser organization.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Covington Partners served as financial advisor on the transaction.
