He succeeds Chris Colpitts, who has served as interim CEO since November 2025 and will continue as Executive Chairman of the Board, supporting a smooth leadership transition.
Kavarthapu brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare technology, with a track record of scaling software businesses, building high-performing teams, and driving sustained growth. He most recently served as CEO of Edifecs, where he expanded the company’s health data management platform for payers and providers and led its acquisition by Cotiviti in 2025. That transaction integrated Edifecs’ platform with Cotiviti’s analytics capabilities to enhance cost efficiency and care outcomes.
