Syntrio Solutions, a provider of fiber-to-the-home internet services, announced the acquisition of fiber-optic assets from Tri-County Electric Cooperative, based in Azle, Texas.
The approximately 250-mile fiber-optic network built by Tri-County Electric Cooperative is now owned and operated by Syntrio. The acquisition expands Syntrio’s network coverage to include all or parts of Archer, Baylor, Hood, Jack, Palo Pinto, Parker, Tarrant, Wise, and Young counties in North Texas.
According to the company, the investment strengthens Syntrio’s network redundancy by creating additional routes designed to improve reliability and maximize uptime for customers. Syntrio said the added infrastructure will also support its rapid fiber deployment strategy and help deliver high-speed internet and advanced technology services to additional communities across North Texas.
Syntrio said the next phase of the transaction will focus on integrating the acquired fiber-optic assets into its existing network infrastructure while maintaining the company’s performance, reliability, and service standards.
Founded more than 75 years ago, Syntrio provides internet connectivity and managed IT services to businesses and households across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. The company said it remains focused on expanding service availability and delivering reliable broadband connectivity throughout the region.
Support: Bank Street Group served as Syntrio’s exclusive financial advisor on the transaction, while Jackson Walker LLP acted as legal advisor.
