System One Acquires Pathfinder To Expand Critical Infrastructure Consulting Capabilities

System One, a provider of specialized outsourced services and workforce solutions, announced the acquisition of Pathfinder, an independent firm focused on capital project management consulting and training across critical infrastructure sectors. The deal strengthens System One’s capabilities in project assurance, organizational effectiveness, and project-based resourcing across industries, including utilities, energy, mining, and pharmaceuticals.

Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Pathfinder brings decades of experience supporting capital projects ranging from small initiatives to large-scale programs. Its services include independent project reviews, risk and contracting support, project controls, and best-practice training designed to help project owners achieve cost and schedule certainty.

Following the acquisition, Pathfinder will operate as a System One company within its critical infrastructure segment. The firm will continue delivering its consulting and training services while benefiting from System One’s broader scale and resources. Steve Cabano, Pathfinder’s current owner, will remain in his role as President.

System One stated that the acquisition enhances its ability to deliver end-to-end support for complex infrastructure projects, combining technical expertise with workforce solutions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
