System Raises $20 Million To Build Vertically Integrated Peptide Platform As Market Reaches $163 Billion

System has raised $20 million in new funding to expand its vertically integrated peptide platform, which connects patients with licensed U.S. clinicians and pharmacy-compounded treatments as the company targets a global peptide therapeutics market estimated at $163 billion in 2026. The financing includes Patron Fund, Vine, Courtside, Daybreak, SV Angel and Will Ventures. System plans to use the capital to broaden access to its platform and continue building infrastructure across the peptide supply chain.

System is positioning itself around a category that has expanded beyond its early association with niche biohacking communities.

The company cited estimates placing the global peptide therapeutics market at approximately $140 billion in 2025 and $163 billion in 2026.

System also sees a changing regulatory environment as an important factor in the market’s development. According to the company, the FDA recently voted to add six reviewed peptides to a list of substances that licensed compounding pharmacies can legally prepare.

The company’s platform connects patients with U.S.-licensed clinicians who evaluate health histories and determine personalized treatment protocols.

Prescribed treatments are then compounded by certified U.S. pharmacies and shipped directly to patients.

System’s strategy extends beyond operating a telehealth marketplace.

The company is seeking greater control over its supply chain, with a compounding pharmacy already within its network and plans to add a raw-ingredient, or API, manufacturing capability.

System is also emphasizing transparency and quality controls as it builds the platform.

The company said its products are independently lab tested, clinicians are background-checked and reviewed through the National Practitioner Data Bank, and treatments are sourced through FDA-registered U.S. compounding pharmacies.

System currently offers peptide-related treatments including Glutathione, GHK-CU, MIC+B12, NAD+ and Sermorelin through its physician-guided platform.

The company says its treatments are available across all 50 states, subject to individual state telehealth regulations.

The funding gives System additional capital to pursue a vertically integrated model as it attempts to position itself between high-cost concierge clinics and less structured sources of peptide access.

KEY QUOTES:

“My vision was never to be another DTC telehealth brand, but to own more of the stack and build the foundation this category needs as it moves into the mainstream. We want to be category definers and the solution Americans use and trust for their long-term health. This funding signals that we’re building a company that is filling the gap between concierge clinics and research-grade access that no single platform currently owns.”

Adam Steinle, Founder And CEO Of System

“When I first started looking into peptides, I spent months researching and talking to more than 30 founders across the ecosystem. Adam and the System team stand apart, as they bring a genuine sense of responsibility for how this category gets built, paired with an obsession for excellence over the execution. We’re extremely proud to support System as they continue building the trustworthy, high-quality infrastructure that the peptide supply chain needs.”
