- Middle-market private equity firm Tailwind Capital recently announced that it acquired Ventiv Technology. These are the details behind the deal.
Tailwind Capital — a middle-market private equity firm investing in targeted sectors within healthcare, business services, and industrial services — announced it has acquired Ventiv Technology. Ventiv Technology is a leading global software provider of Integrated Risk Management (“IRM”) solutions for enterprises and government entities.
Ventiv’s software platform essentially enables enterprises to manage incidents and claims, and evaluate, mitigate, and monitor risks with analytics, data-discovery, and reporting capabilities. And Ventiv’s other products allow users to administer claims and insurance policies.

Tailwind is going to support Ventiv in its ambition to become the global leader in IRM software through the acceleration of sales and marketing, development of new product capabilities, expansion into new geographies as well as M&A.
