Talentir announced that it raised a €4 million funding round to build an AI-powered payout infrastructure for companies paying creators, freelancers, and external teams globally. The round was led by Redstone, Shapers, and Inovia, with participation from Tenity.
Talentir is focused on helping companies manage global payouts across creators, freelancers, and external teams. The company combines traditional payment rails, stablecoin settlement, and AI-powered automation into a compliance-ready platform.
The platform is designed to reduce manual work for finance teams while helping companies manage merchant-of-record workflows, payment operations, compliance, and settlement processes.
Talentir said global payouts remain a costly and fragmented operational challenge for businesses, with cross-border payments often incurring billions in annual fees, causing delays, creating infrastructure gaps, and delivering poor user experiences.
The company is also using stablecoin rails to enable faster, more cost-effective settlement. Talentir said stablecoins can lower transaction fees, reduce foreign exchange costs, and accelerate settlement times for companies operating across borders.
The company has already processed double-digit million payout volumes. With the new funding, Talentir plans to accelerate international expansion and deepen its AI automation layer.
Talentir is headquartered in Switzerland and has offices in Vienna and Zurich. The company is led by co-founders Lukas Steiner, CEO, and Johannes Kares, CTO.
KEY QUOTES:
“Many companies today have a clear mandate not only to test AI, but to bring it into operational processes. We help finance teams put that mandate into practice. Our AI takes over the most time-consuming steps in the payout process and turns payouts from a manual month-end closing topic into a scalable finance process.”
“Companies that work globally with creators, freelancers, and external teams need financial processes that scale with their business. As Merchant of Record, we take on key payment, compliance, and settlement processes and use AI to automate the most time-consuming steps in the payout process. This turns payouts from an operational burden into a competitive advantage.”
Lukas Steiner, CEO and Co-Founder of Talentir
“Ask any finance leader dealing with global payouts what they’d fix with a magic wand. Then go look at what Lukas and Johannes built. DeFi in the back, seamlessly plugged into your existing stack up front, and AI making the whole thing feel like magic. Feels inevitable this becomes the global standard.”
Oliver Sjostedt, Principal, UK & Nordics Investment Lead at Tenity
“Talentir is building the infrastructure for global payouts that works faster, more cost-effectively, and with more automation than traditional banking rails. Stablecoins are a key building block for this: they can lower transaction fees, reduce FX costs, and significantly accelerate settlement.”
