Talon Precision has acquired B & A Company, a Milford, Connecticut‑based precision machining firm that has been part of the region’s Aerospace Alley supply chain since 1973. The deal, completed on March 13, 2026, supports Talon Precision’s strategy to build a premier precision manufacturing platform serving aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor, and other mission‑critical end markets.

Founded by Bert and Anita Schwarz, B & A Company specializes in tight‑tolerance, complex metal components for helicopters and fixed‑wing aircraft, including parts used in valve, sensor, brake, and landing gear systems. Over more than five decades, the company has become a trusted supplier to commercial aerospace and defense customers, backed by AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.

Under Talon Precision’s ownership, B & A—now operating as B&A Precision LLC—will continue to serve its existing customer base while gaining additional resources to advance its capabilities and create more opportunities for employees. Talon Precision’s COO Joe Rios said the firm intends to build on the Schwarz family’s foundation by investing in technology, talent, and capacity to support high‑reliability, tight‑tolerance manufacturing.

Backed by $75 million in initial equity capital from long‑term investors, Talon Precision is pursuing a buy‑and‑build strategy focused on acquiring high‑performing precision manufacturing businesses and preserving their operational legacies. Touchstone Advisors served as advisor to B & A Company on the transaction.
