Tango Therapeutics has built a cash position of approximately $1 billion as the company prepares to move its lead pancreatic cancer combination toward Phase 3 development and simultaneously adds commercial launch capabilities.
As of June 30, Tango held approximately $345.6 million in cash and $668.4 million in marketable securities. The company said its approximately $1 billion cash position is expected to fund its current operating plan, including development and commercialization preparation for pancreatic cancer.
The balance sheet follows initial Phase 1/2 results showing vopimetostat combined with daraxonrasib generated a 92% objective response rate and a 90% six-month progression-free survival rate in patients with MTAP-deleted, RAS-mutant pancreatic cancer. Tango is working with regulators and collaborator Revolution Medicines on a potential registrational path.
Tango plans to finalize the design of a randomized Phase 3 front-line pancreatic cancer study during the second half of 2026. The company has also appointed Fatma Ocak as Chief Commercialization Officer to oversee launch readiness, commercial strategy, medical affairs and clinical-commercial integration.
