Tapestry announced that Matt Madrigal, Chief Technology Officer of Pinterest, Inc., has been appointed to its Board of Directors effective immediately. The appointment increases the board to 11 members, including 10 independent directors.
Madrigal currently oversees engineering, product, design, and platform operations at Pinterest, a visual discovery platform with more than 600 million monthly active users globally. He brings deep experience across technology, e-commerce, and consumer behavior, particularly in how younger audiences discover, engage with, and shop from brands in digital environments.
Prior to joining Pinterest, Madrigal served as Vice President and General Manager of Merchant Shopping at Google, where he led product and engineering for Google Shopping. He also held leadership roles as Chief Technology and Product Officer at Fanatics and Senior Vice President of eCommerce and Marketing at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at eBay Inc., leading product and engineering for growth marketing and advertising technology platforms.
Tapestry said Madrigal’s appointment aligns with its strategy to deepen digital engagement and accelerate growth through technology and innovation.
