Tastewise: $50 Million Raised For Scaling GenAI Tools For The Food Industry

Tastewise is a GenAI platform that powers execution for the food and beverage industry, announcing a $50 million Series B to scale its generative AI-based marketing and sales tools for global brands. The funding round was led by TELUS Global Ventures, with participation from Duo Partners, Peakbridge, Disruptive AI, and PICO, bringing Tastewise’s total funding to date to $72 million.

Problem being addressed: This momentum comes at a time of disruption across the $10 trillion food & beverage industry (F&B) as brands face surging ingredient prices, shrinking shelf space, and growing pressure to keep pace with consumers who change by the week. And private label market share is growing 4 times faster than national brands, while 91% of menu changes last quarter were price increases, averaging more than $1.

Tastewise addresses the gap by combining brand data with trillions of real-time food signals to automate marketing and sales execution across the F&B industry. From retail to foodservice, the platform integrates into daily workflows, turning data into sales materials, campaigns, and product placements on shelves and menus. And its GenAI delivers ready-to-use content in real time, helping brands move faster and smarter; clients have cut launch timelines by 6–8 months and saved millions on execution costs.

Kroger: At Kroger, Tastewise insights helped reposition an existing product line, which moves quickly from early testing to a rollout across hundreds of stores, supported by data-driven storytelling and a clear go-to-market plan. As the industry continues to shift rapidly, this kind of speed and adaptability is essential. Now Tastewise supports 80% of the world’s top food and beverage companies, including Mars, Campbell’s, and Kraft Heinz.

How the funding will be used: Tastewise will utilize the new funding to fuel its growth in North America, Europe, and APAC, while expanding its toolset and deepening its integration with leading marketing technology stacks.
