Taylor Wessing has announced the appointment of Henry Priestley as a partner in its London intellectual property practice, reinforcing its strategy to build a leading global IP offering.
Priestley joins with more than 15 years of experience in litigation and dispute management, advising brand owners, retailers and major commercial clients on both contentious and non-contentious IP matters. His expertise spans soft IP, including copyright and trademarks, as well as strategic and transactional advisory work such as acquisitions and the establishment of new commercial ventures.
The firm said the hire represents a further step in its ambition to create an “unrivalled IP powerhouse,” strengthening capabilities across IP disputes, brands and retail while deepening relationships with key clients. The move follows the recent addition of IP partner Jeremy Drew as part of the same growth strategy.
