TD SYNNEX entered into a definitive agreement to acquire specialty technology distributor BlueStar. BlueStar specializes in Automatic Identification and Data Capture, operational technology, mobility, RFID, point-of-sale systems, digital signage, networking, robotics, and security technologies.

TD SYNNEX expects the combination to give its customers and vendor partners access to a broader technology portfolio and additional specialized expertise.

BlueStar’s business is particularly focused on technologies supporting physical operations, data capture, inventory, mobility, and frontline commercial environments.

TD SYNNEX plans to combine those capabilities with its global distribution infrastructure, vendor relationships, investment resources, and channel reach.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Until the transaction closes, TD SYNNEX and BlueStar will continue operating independently.

TD SYNNEX serves more than 150,000 customers across more than 100 countries and provides technology spanning cybersecurity, analytics, artificial intelligence, mobility, and Everything-as-a-Service.
