Teads has appointed Dani Cushion as chief marketing officer, naming the former Innovid marketing leader to oversee the company’s global marketing organization as it expands its omnichannel outcomes platform for the open internet.
Cushion will join Teads effective January 6, 2026, and will be responsible for the company’s brand, communications, and go-to-market strategy, with a mandate to support growth for advertisers, agencies, and publishers globally.
Teads said the appointment comes during a period of accelerated product and platform evolution, as the company positions its offering around outcomes-driven advertising across premium digital environments. The company is also continuing to build out its executive team, following the November appointment of Mollie Spilman as chief commercial officer to oversee global commercial strategy and deepen client performance efforts across regions.
Cushion brings experience leading marketing organizations through major corporate milestones in advertising and marketing technology. Most recently, she served as chief marketing officer at connected TV firm Innovid, where she helped position the business ahead of its acquisition by Mediaocean. Before Innovid, she was chief marketing officer at ExecOnline and previously served as chief marketing officer at Cardlytics, where she supported the company through its IPO and expansion as a public company. Earlier in her career, Cushion was senior vice president of marketing at Millennial Media, contributing to the company’s IPO, international expansion, and subsequent acquisition by AOL and Verizon Media. She has also held roles at SiriusXM, ISL, Omnicom’s Millsport and The Marketing Arm, and Major League Soccer, and has been a frequent speaker at industry events, including CES, Cannes Lions, and Advertising Week New York.
Teads, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker TEAD, describes itself as an omnichannel outcomes platform for the open internet that uses predictive AI to connect premium media, creative, and context driven addressability and measurement. The company says it works directly with more than 10,000 publishers and 20,000 advertisers worldwide, employing nearly 1,800 people across more than 30 countries.
