TeamBonding, a provider of corporate team-building and professional development experiences, announced it has acquired Recipe for Success, a company specializing in culinary-based team-building programs. The move formalizes a 15-year partnership and integrates Recipe for Success as a dedicated subdivision within TeamBonding’s broader portfolio.

The acquisition is designed to meet growing demand for interactive, human-centered workplace engagement solutions, particularly as organizations seek new ways to improve collaboration and morale. Culinary team-building programs, which center on shared cooking experiences, have gained traction as a way to strengthen communication and foster authentic connections among employees.

TeamBonding highlighted that employee engagement remains a challenge, citing research showing that only about one-third of U.S. workers are actively engaged. The company believes its expanded culinary offerings provide a practical way for organizations to address this gap while tapping into a growing market, including a U.S. cooking class sector projected to reach $7.6 billion by 2030.

The transition also marks the retirement of Recipe for Success co-founder Richard Cooper, who helped build the business alongside TeamBonding over more than a decade. As part of the integration, Greg Daylor will continue in his role as Head Chef, leading culinary programming and facilitating nationwide experiences.

Recipe for Success programs will now be offered as part of TeamBonding’s catalog of more than 200 team-building events. These include Cooking for a Cause, a corporate social responsibility-focused experience where teams prepare meals for donation; TeamCuisine, a competitive cooking challenge without recipes; the Food Truck Challenge, which blends culinary skills with branding and creativity; the Ice Cream Making Challenge using liquid nitrogen; and Let Them Eat Cake, a cake design and presentation competition.

By managing logistics such as equipment, ingredients, and facilitation, TeamBonding aims to provide turnkey experiences for companies seeking high-impact team-building solutions.

KEY QUOTES:

“After 15 years of successful partnership, bringing Recipe for Success fully into the TeamBonding family is a natural evolution. The incredible foundation Richard and his team built has allowed us to bring culinary experiences to teams, providing the emotional glue they often lack.”
