TeamBridge: Interview With Co-Founder & Co-CEO Arjun Vora About The Process Automation Company

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jan 22, 2025

TeamBridge makes staffing agencies more effective and efficient by automating their workforce management and delivering a best-in-class mobile experience for their workers. Pulse 2.0 interviewed TeamBridge co-founder and co-CEO, Arjun Vora, to learn more about the company.

Company Background

How did the idea for the company come together? Founded by Arjun Vora and Tito Goldstein, former Uber product and design leaders. Vora, who previously served as Uber’s Head of Driver Design, and Goldstein, formerly Uber’s Head of Product Design for Uber for Business, bring a wealth of experience in product development and design — aiming to transform how hourly workforces operate.

Vora said:

“After interviewing hundreds of Uber Drivers, we began to realize how workforce management could be a differentiator for organizations that rely on their people. Activating and engaging staff efficiently with a self-service app can be the difference between growth and failure.”

“The majority of the world’s workforce falls into this forgotten demographic of hourly workers. Unlocking the fullest potential of this workforce is a massive opportunity.”

Core Products

What are the company’s core products and features? Vora explained:

“By giving our customers these ‘lego blocks’ we empower them to build the unique tools that help them stand out’ – Arjun Vora

This flexibility means that TeamBridge becomes a true workforce OS. Completely  changing how organizations approach workforce management. Unlike rigid, vertical specific or generic products in the market today, TeamBridge gives organizations the building blocks to innovate — turning their workforce tools, policies, and processes into differentiators that help them win their markets.

TeamBridge gives staff and frontline workers an equally flexible mobile experience that unlocks self-service tools tailored to the organizations unique needs.”

Challenges Faced

What challenges have Vora and the team face in building the company? Vora acknowledged:

“Labor shortage is one of the biggest challenges for businesses that hire hourly workers. Covid brought attention to the importance of front line workers, and how they are the backbone of society. These businesses now face the existential need to modernize their tech stack. They need to be able to find, activate, and engage a workforce in ways not unlike the gig economy companies that draw away their people.”

“We’ve seen some reverse cyclical benefits to the holistic TeamBridge OS approach when compared to simple scheduling and time tracking tools that don’t produce realized ROI. In times of high demand, our customers are looking for ways to help scale their org effectively. When there is a slowdown, our customers are looking for automation and efficiency gains to reduce costs. Our ability to do both in TeamBridge allows us to position ourselves for whatever the current market needs.”

Evolution Of TeamBridge’s Technology

How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? Vora noted:

“With TeamBridge, anyone can describe their workflows. And now, leveraging A.I. and TeamBridge we see workspaces, tools, and features come to life. Our users are building their own software, their own apps, to streamline and automate repetitive tasks with no technical training at all.”

“We believe that the biggest opportunity for AI and LLMs lie in their ability to bridge the technology gap for non-tech workers. This AI revolution not only unlocks an entirely new way to work, but also to create software.”

Significant Milestones/Future Goals

What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? What are some of the company’s future company goals? Vora emphasized:

“In 2024, TeamBridge launched their mobile app builder that gives businesses the blocks to build their own custom apps. This allows managers to deploy their secret sauce at scale and automate how they manage remote workforces.”

“TeamBridge has built a leadership team with top recruits like Jujhaar Singh, Head of Engineering, previously at Airbnb and Notion, and D’Arcy Doyle, SVP of Sales, previously at Productboard and Box — leaders who are focused on revolutionizing the forgotten demographic.”

“With over 100,000 hourly workers on the platform, the company has grown tremendously across multiple sectors including Medical Staffing, Homecare, Light Industrial, and Hospitality since we launched in late 2022.”

“TeamBridge recently raised a $28 million Series B, using the new funds to accelerate the product and AI roadmap, enhance client services, and continue to scale its enterprise-grade infrastructure.”

Customer Success Stories

When asking Vora about customer success stories, he highlighted:

Revv Staffing used TeamBridge’s platform to build a custom mobile marketplace connecting their nurses with their clients (healthcare facilities).

Differentiation From The Competition

What differentiates the company from its competition? Vora concluded:

“Where our competition builds one-size-fits-all software for one industry, we build composable building blocks so that our customers can build exactly the tools they need to succeed.”

“’Other software companies have it backwards. If your software is a crucial part of your customer’s business, it can’t be the same offering as their competition.’
