Tenpin Entertainment, backed by Dallas-based private equity firm Trive Capital, has acquired Fairgame, the London-based fairground-inspired social entertainment brand founded in 2019 by Richard Hilton. Fairgame operates two London venues that blend proprietary tech-enabled fairground games with food and beverage offerings.

Trive Partner Shravan Thadani said the acquisition positions Tenpin to expand into new markets and build on Fairgame’s category-defining model. Hilton said joining Tenpin sets the stage for “rapid, ambitious growth” while he continues supporting the team. BGF investor Chris Jones praised Fairgame’s founders for scaling “with drive, vision, and leadership.”

Tenpin operates 58 bowling and family entertainment centers across the UK, offering activities spanning bowling, arcades, escape rooms, karaoke, laser tag, and more.

Support: Fairgame received financial advisory support from Tamweel Capital and legal counsel from Akin Gump. Trive and Tenpin were advised by Shoosmiths LLP.
