Tenstorrent Buying Blue Cheetah Analog Design

By Amit Chowdhry • Jul 2, 2025

Tenstorrent has acquired Blue Cheetah Analog Design, a start-up specializing in analog mixed-signal IP. And Blue Cheetah, a key vendor for Tenstorrent, has been developing advanced interconnects for its chiplet products. This deal follows their earlier partnership on die-to-die interconnect IP for AI and RISC-V solutions.

Blue Cheetah’s expertise in analog mixed-signal technology will enhance Tenstorrent’s current chiplet solutions. And as analog/mixed-signal components become crucial for AI systems’ performance, bringing Blue Cheetah in-house supports Tenstorrent’s goal of an open chiplet ecosystem with optimized interconnects.

Headed by CEO Dr. Elad Alon, Blue Cheetah boasts a skilled team with extensive experience in high-speed interconnect and IP. Their engineers are adept in D2D, DDR, SerDes, and other technologies vital to Tenstorrent’s plans.

Blue Cheetah provides chiplet interconnect IP across various foundries and process nodes. And their BlueLynx D2D subsystem IP supports OCP Bunch of Wires (BoW) and Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express (UCIe) interfaces.
