Tequipy announced that it has raised €3.06 million in funding led by Smedvig Ventures, with participation from Manta Ray and Unfold.vc. The company said the funding will support its next phase of growth as it expands beyond hardware lifecycle management into software, access, and security automation for enterprise IT teams.

Founded to address inefficiencies in global IT operations, Tequipy manages the full lifecycle of employee devices for distributed organizations. The platform handles purchasing, configuration, delivery, servicing, and retrieval of employee hardware across more than 180 countries. According to the company, Tequipy now supports more than 150 companies worldwide.

The company’s origin story traces back to its co-founder witnessing engineers manually cleaning and preparing laptops during their time at Revolut. That experience highlighted the operational burden placed on IT teams managing devices at scale, particularly in globally distributed organizations.

Tequipy said hardware operations were among the most difficult enterprise workflows to automate because of the physical logistics involved. With that infrastructure now in place, the company plans to expand into adjacent IT management functions, including software provisioning, access management, and security operations.

The company said its broader objective is to eliminate up to 80% of the manual work currently handled by global IT teams. As hybrid and remote work environments continue to expand internationally, enterprises increasingly require automated systems that support employees across multiple countries and regions.

The investment comes as organizations continue to modernize internal IT operations and seek ways to reduce operational complexity associated with onboarding, offboarding, and device management. Tequipy’s platform is positioned to help companies centralize and streamline those workflows across distributed workforces.
