Terex has appointed Namita Jindal as senior vice president and chief AI and data officer, effective immediately, as the industrial equipment manufacturer looks to accelerate its digital transformation agenda.
Jindal will report to Terex President and Chief Executive Officer Simon Meester and will join the company’s executive leadership team. In the newly created role, she will be responsible for advancing Terex’s artificial intelligence initiatives and strengthening data management capabilities across the organization.
Jindal joins Terex from CentralSquare Technologies, where she has served as chief information officer since 2021. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has led digital transformation efforts across multiple organizations, including a prior CIO role for Honeywell’s Intelligrated automation business.
Meester said the company expects Jindal’s experience in AI and data to help drive efficiency and profitability as Terex continues executing its broader digital strategy.
Jindal holds an MBA from Ohio University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from India.
