Terra Mobility has secured $40 million in credit financing from Vista Credit Partners, the credit investment arm of Vista Equity Partners.
The financing was announced alongside the launch of Terra Mobility as a new parent company uniting the company’s consumer ground transportation marketplaces with its TerraOS software platform.
Terra Mobility plans to use the capital to accelerate the development of TerraOS, including its AI-powered capabilities, expand its marketplaces across existing geographic regions and pursue selective acquisitions within the ground transportation industry.
Vista Credit Partners has completed more than 700 transactions and managed over $10.7 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026.
Terra Mobility’s consumer marketplaces include Busbud, Buson and Recorrido.
TerraOS provides enterprise software for bus companies and other ground transportation operators, supporting operational activities across the industry.
Together, the marketplaces connect more than 100 million travelers annually with over 4,000 operators across more than 190 countries.
Approximately 300 operators in over 15 countries currently use the company’s enterprise products.
Terra Mobility employs 270 people across 26 countries.
The company intends to position TerraOS as the technology backbone for a ground travel market that remains fragmented across operators, booking platforms and regional systems.
The combination of consumer distribution and operator software is designed to help Terra Mobility connect traveler demand with the systems used by transportation providers to manage their businesses.
