Tesla Motors has poached a hacker named Kristin Paget from Apple. Paget did not reveal what she will be doing specifically at Tesla. “Can’t say too much but ‘securing things’ is a fair bet :),” said Paget on Twitter.
She will start working from Tesla’s Palo Alto, California headquarters on Monday.
Paget joined Apple in September 2012. Her business card at Apple was actually titled “Hacker Princess.”
Paget previously worked with Microsoft to secure Windows Vista. At Defcon 2010, Pagent demonstrated how to build a fake cell tower to intercept phone calls.
