Tessera Labs announced it raised $60 million in oversubscribed funding, led by Andreessen Horowitz, to accelerate the development of its AI-native enterprise transformation platform. Foundation Capital, Myriad Venture Partners, and Osage University Partners also participated in the financing round.
The company said the funding will support platform development, expansion of go-to-market operations, and hiring across its AI research and domain expert teams.
Tessera Labs develops a vendor-agnostic, multi-agent AI platform designed to automate and accelerate enterprise resource planning modernization projects. The company said its platform is pre-trained on thousands of organizational landscapes and transformation scenarios and is designed to manage ERP, HCM, CRM, procurement, and related enterprise systems.
According to Tessera Labs, the platform captures business requirements using natural language, orchestrates changes across enterprise systems, and maintains governance and traceability throughout modernization efforts. The company said early adopters have reduced ERP transformation timelines from years to weeks while cutting costs by more than half.
The company highlighted recent customer wins, including a top-five global biopharmaceutical company conducting a multi-year ERP transformation and a Fortune 500 company in document technology and business services, modernizing enterprise systems. Tessera said its customer base spans manufacturing, technology, retail, consumer goods, and utilities industries.
Andreessen Horowitz partner Seema Amble joined the Tessera Labs board as part of the investment. The firm said Tessera addresses one of the largest, longstanding challenges in enterprise technology modernization by making transformation programs more predictable, governed, and continuous.
Tessera Labs was founded by Kabir Nagrecha and Ming Chang and employs AI researchers and enterprise platform experts with backgrounds from Meta, Netflix, Apple, and SAP.
