Texans Credit Union, a Texas-based credit union, announced it has merged with Las Colinas Federal Credit Union to expand its branch network and strengthen its presence across North Texas.

The partnership adds three branches and more than 10,000 members to the Texans Credit Union network. Following the merger, the combined organization will serve approximately 150,000 members across 14 locations in North Texas. Existing Las Colinas Federal Credit Union branches will remain open and operate under the Texans Credit Union brand, and employees are expected to continue in their current roles to ensure continuity of service.

Leadership from both organizations emphasized cultural and mission alignment, noting a shared commitment to community service and member support. Texans Credit Union said it plans to transition new members’ products, policies, and digital banking experiences over the next 60 to 90 days, while continuing to invest in digital tools, expanded account options, and personalized service.

Founded in 1953, Texans Credit Union is a full-service, not-for-profit financial institution offering banking, lending, and investment services. The organization has been recognized as a Top Workplace for three consecutive years by The Dallas Morning News and said the merger will enable it to further invest in members’ financial well-being and deepen its ties to local communities.
