Texas Woman’s University Launches Virtual Training For Startups

The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE) at Texas Woman’s University launched a virtual training program to help early-stage entrepreneurs to start this businesses. The CWE is now accepting applications for the CWE Virtual Accelerator.

This training program will work through the KauffmanFastTrac curriculum. And Kauffman FastTrac aims to lower barriers to entrepreneurship by providing practical learning materials, delivered online through teaching partners, including The Center for Women Entrepreneurs. And FastTrac will encourage and equip more people to start businesses through this program.

Twenty early-stage businesses in Texas will participate in the intensive training program that is facilitated by the CWE. And there will be two separate cohorts: one during the day and the other during the evening to offer flexibility for participants.

This program will provide the Virtual Accelerator cohort with the following:

  1. Direct access to a business advisor and mentors during and after
  2. Entrepreneurial training from industry experts on vital business resources and processes.
  3. Virtual introductions to grow their network throughout Texas.
  4. Access to business plan software for completing a comprehensive business plan.

Businesses looking to apply for the program must submit a completed online application by June 24, 2024. And this training program starts on July 11, 2024.
