The AmeriFlex Group, an advisor-owned hybrid RIA based in Las Vegas, said Cambridge Investment Research has made a strategic minority investment in the firm to accelerate the national expansion of its SuccessionFully platform.
AmeriFlex said the funding will be used to broaden SuccessionFully, its single-source succession planning platform aimed at helping financial advisors structure transitions, access a marketplace of succession opportunities, and build continuity plans designed to preserve client relationships and maximize enterprise value. The firm positioned the platform as a “conflict-free” alternative for advisors seeking retirement, internal continuity, or longer-term practice transition planning.
The announcement comes after Cambridge became AmeriFlex’s broker-dealer partner in July. AmeriFlex said that in the six months since the relationship began, it has added 11 advisors and surpassed $1 billion in total client assets.
AmeriFlex framed the deal as a response to what it described as an industrywide succession crunch, citing a J.D. Power study that found 46% of financial advisors are expected to retire by 2035. The firm said demand is rising for scalable succession resources that support deal structuring, education, and continuity planning without misaligned incentives.
Cambridge said the investment aligns with its focus on supporting independent advisors through increasingly complex succession decisions. AmeriFlex added that it will remain majority advisor-owned and independently operated, with its leadership team retaining full strategic control. Financial terms were not disclosed.
