The Arch’s Anvil Appoints Tamara Stelting Executive Consultant And Expands RIA Consulting Platform

The Arch’s Anvil has appointed Tamara Stelting as Executive Consultant and expanded its operational consulting platform for independent registered investment advisers.

The Seattle-based firm works with advisory businesses that have grown beyond founder-led operating structures and need more formal leadership, communication and organizational systems.

Stelting previously served in executive positions including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Information Security Officer and Entrepreneurial Operating System Integrator at registered investment advisory firms.

Her experience includes managing technology migrations, rebuilding operational processes, leading compliance and cybersecurity functions, and implementing systems intended to improve organizational efficiency.

As an EOS Integrator, Stelting has worked to translate company founders’ strategic visions into measurable plans, identify operating bottlenecks and develop teams that can function without continuous executive involvement.

The Arch’s Anvil said its recent organizational diagnostic found that advisory firm leadership teams generally understood their companies’ long-term goals, while many employees struggled to explain how their daily responsibilities supported those goals.

This disconnect can become more pronounced when advisory firms increase assets and clients faster than they develop internal processes, decision-making responsibilities and management capacity. Founders can consequently remain responsible for routine questions that should be handled throughout the organization.

The Arch’s Anvil has worked with advisory firms representing more than $10.1 billion in assets under management. The company said one recent engagement returned more than 100 hours of capacity to a client during the first month.

Its expanded platform combines executive advisory, operational consulting, implementation support, leadership development and licensing opportunities for larger firms seeking to apply its framework internally.

The firm describes its approach as embedded consulting, with advisers working directly inside a client’s leadership structure rather than limiting their role to delivering recommendations.

The Arch’s Anvil also provides a centralized digital dashboard for operational resources, project materials and essential documents. The platform was informed by the firm’s experience supporting more than 40 merger and acquisition transitions and integrations.

The company will discuss the expanded platform during a webinar titled “Growing Your Firm Beyond You” on August 6, 2026. Chris Brown, President and Founder of Ivy League Financial Advisors, will participate as a client guest speaker.

KEY QUOTES:

“We’ve seen a noticeable shift in the conversations we’re having with firm leaders. Growth is creating new demands on leadership, communication, and organizational capacity.”

“Firms are asking how to build organizations that can continue growing without requiring the founder to remain at the center of every important decision. That’s the work we’re expanding to meet.”

“Tamara has spent her career in the seats she’ll now be helping our clients build out; that’s rare, and it’s exactly what our clients need.”

Claire Alexander, Founder of The Arch’s Anvil

“I’ve spent my career in the roles firms don’t think about until something breaks, operations, compliance, security, integration.”

“What drew me to The Arch’s Anvil is that the work goes far beyond improving operations. It’s about helping firms become organizations that are prepared for what’s next. That’s a very different conversation than simply making processes more efficient.”
