Hightower has announced that Hightower Naples, a Naples, Florida-based wealth management practice overseeing approximately $1.1 billion in assets under management, is joining The Bahnsen Group, a Hightower Company.
As part of the move, Hightower Naples will operate under The Bahnsen Group, or TBG, brand.
The transaction is expected to close at year-end 2026.
Hightower Naples is the first existing Hightower advisory practice to join TBG through Hightower’s flagship franchise model, providing an early example of how Hightower plans to use The Bahnsen Group as a platform for integrating additional advisory teams.
The deal also establishes TBG’s second location in Florida, complementing its existing Palm Beach office and expanding the wealth management firm’s presence in the Naples market.
The addition follows the closing of Hightower’s previously announced acquisition of The Bahnsen Group, which expanded a partnership between the companies that began in 2015.
Hightower has positioned TBG as a differentiated brand that can serve as a hub for like-minded advisory businesses seeking additional scale, resources and a national footprint.
The Bahnsen Group was founded in 2015 when David Bahnsen joined Hightower with approximately $600 million in client assets and eight team members.
Since then, the practice has grown into one of Hightower’s largest and fastest-growing advisory businesses.
As of August 30, 2026, TBG managed more than $10.5 billion in client assets and employed more than 100 professionals across 13 locations nationwide.
The addition of Hightower Naples increases the scale of that platform while providing TBG with a stronger position in Florida’s wealth management market.
Hightower Naples is led by Managing Directors and Partners David Emma and Mark Masterson.
The practice provides comprehensive wealth planning and investment management services to high-net-worth families, business owners, senior executives and professional athletes.
Emma and Masterson joined Hightower in 2011 and have since grown their business to serve more than 100 families.
Under the new structure, Hightower Naples clients will continue working with their existing advisory team while gaining access to the broader resources and capabilities available through The Bahnsen Group.
For TBG, the combination adds an established practice with more than $1 billion in assets and deep relationships in an attractive Florida wealth market.
The transaction is also part of a broader geographic expansion strategy for The Bahnsen Group.
In addition to its flagship offices in Newport Beach and New York City, TBG has established locations in Nashville, Minneapolis, Austin, Phoenix, Dallas, Palm Beach, Bend, Grand Rapids, Silicon Valley, Santa Barbara and Pittsburgh.
Hightower said it expects to announce additional acquisitions into The Bahnsen Group in the coming months, signaling that the Naples transaction could be followed by further expansion of the franchise platform.
Hightower itself oversees more than $350 billion in assets and provides investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, corporate 401(k) consulting and cash management services through its nationwide community of advisory businesses.
