The Opus Group Acquires Experiential Marketing Agency Network To Accelerate Global Growth

EagleTree Capital has acquired The Opus Group, a global network of experiential marketing agencies, from Growth Catalyst Partners, marking a new phase of expansion for the business. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Opus Group operates a portfolio of agency brands, including Opus Agency, MAS, and Verve, delivering experiential, event, and brand marketing services to more than 70 global clients. Its customer base includes major companies such as Amazon, BMW, Diageo, Google, and Salesforce. The company maintains a global presence across the United States, EMEA, and APAC.

The acquisition comes amid rising demand for experiential marketing, as companies increasingly invest in live and immersive brand experiences to build trust and engagement across global audiences. EagleTree Capital is positioning the investment to capitalize on this growth trend, with plans to scale the business through both organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

During its prior ownership under Growth Catalyst Partners, The Opus Group expanded its capabilities, broadened its client base, and strengthened its global footprint. The new partnership with EagleTree is expected to build on that momentum, with additional resources aimed at enhancing service delivery and expanding international reach.

EagleTree brings sector experience across marketing services, events, and media-adjacent businesses, and sees The Opus Group as well-positioned within a growing market for integrated, experience-led marketing solutions.

Legal advisors included Kirkland and Ellis and Dickinson Wright for Opus, and Jones Day along with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison for EagleTree. Monroe Capital provided financing support as lead arranger and administrative agent for the senior secured credit facility backing the deal.
