The State Group has acquired Mel-Kay Electric Co., or MelKay, expanding its mechanical, electrical and plumbing contracting capabilities across Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois.

The State Group is a portfolio company of funds managed by Apollo.
