The Trade Desk Appoints Penry Price To Board Of Directors

The Trade Desk announced the appointment of Penry Price to its board of directors. Price brings more than two decades of experience across the advertising industry, with leadership roles spanning major ad platforms, agency partnerships, marketing technology, and AI-focused workflow intelligence.

He previously served as Vice President of Marketing Solutions at LinkedIn and President of Dstillery. Earlier in his career, Price was Vice President of Agency Sales and Partners at Google, where he helped lead strategic initiatives including the DoubleClick acquisition.

The Trade Desk said Price’s background gives him direct insight into how marketers operate across different parts of the internet. His experience also aligns with the company’s focus on supporting advertisers across the open internet.

Price is currently Co-Founder of 37Arc, a workflow intelligence company focused on how artificial intelligence is changing the speed and execution of marketing. He is also Founder and Managing Partner of Charcoal Advisors.

Across his career, Price has worked closely with agencies as they navigated the shift from traditional media to digital media. The Trade Desk said his agency channel experience and marketer-focused perspective will support the company as AI continues to reshape advertising.

Price has served on the board of directors of Church & Dwight since 2011. He chairs the Compensation and Human Capital Committee and serves on the company’s Executive and Audit Committees.

Price holds a B.A. in History from Hobart College.
