The Wealth Consulting Group Surpasses $12.1 Billion AUA After 27% Growth And $2.6 Billion In Advisor Recruitment

The Wealth Consulting Group has surpassed $12.1 billion in assets under advisement as of July 31, 2026, marking 27% growth since 2025 as the hybrid RIA and wealth management platform continues to expand through advisor recruitment and acquisitions.

WCG has recruited more than $2.6 billion in assets under advisement over the past 18 months, reflecting demand from financial advisors seeking to maintain independence while gaining access to centralized operational support, planning resources, and succession options.

Founded in 1995 by Jimmy Lee, The Wealth Consulting Group has spent more than three decades helping financial advisors build and grow independent practices while providing comprehensive financial planning services to clients.

The firm launched its independent RIA platform in 2014, establishing a planning-led model that combines advisor autonomy with shared infrastructure and support.

WCG’s platform lets advisors retain control of their businesses while using centralized resources for operational functions that would otherwise take time away from serving clients and driving growth.

The firm’s expanding advisor infrastructure includes succession planning and monetization capabilities designed for advisors who want to build enterprise value without immediately giving up control of their practices.

A central part of that strategy is WCG’s Partners Program.

The program gives advisors access to capital and opportunities for partial monetization while letting them determine the timing and structure of an eventual succession.

WCG positions the offering as a way for advisors to prepare years in advance for ownership transitions while continuing to operate independently.

The firm’s broader advisor ecosystem supports the Partners Program and emphasizes collaboration among affiliated financial professionals.

Through its Advisor Resource Center, WCG provides access to a CIO-led investment committee, proprietary model portfolios and dedicated financial and retirement planning support.

Advisors can also use insurance specialists and operational resources, along with advanced planning capabilities covering areas such as tax coordination, estate design and complex wealth structuring.

WCG said these shared services are intended to reduce the amount of time advisors spend managing administrative and back-office responsibilities.

The firm is focused on continued growth through both acquisitions and recruitment of established independent financial advisor businesses.

WCG provides services spanning wealth planning, investment management, insurance and risk management, with advisors serving clients across the United States.

The $12.1 billion AUA milestone reflects WCG’s strategy of positioning itself as a long-term destination for experienced advisors seeking a combination of independence, centralized resources and options for eventual succession.
