Thesis Care has raised $45 million in a Series A funding round to expand its AI-powered care team platform designed to increase clinical capacity for healthcare organizations. The round was led by Oak HC/FT, with participation from CRV and Black Opal Ventures, bringing the company’s total funding to $60 million.
The company, previously known as Trovo Health, is also formally rebranding as Thesis Care to reflect the evolution of its platform. Its technology combines AI agents with expert clinicians to execute complex clinical operations and care management tasks, enabling healthcare providers to scale capacity without adding operational burden.
Thesis Care’s platform is designed to integrate into existing workflows rather than require new tools, using AI that understands clinical context to complete tasks end-to-end while involving human clinicians when necessary. The company says this approach allows healthcare organizations to improve patient engagement, close care gaps, and reduce administrative workload.
The company has already established partnerships with major provider organizations across primary and specialty care, including US Heart & Vascular, Essen Health Care, Springfield Clinic, Unio Health Partners, and Allied Digestive Health. It is now expanding into collaborations with broader health systems and payer care teams.
With the new funding, Thesis Care plans to accelerate commercial expansion, further develop its unified technology platform, and expand its suite of AI-powered care team agents.
KEY QUOTES:
“2025 was a defining year for Thesis as we moved from design partnerships into a clear commercial trajectory and growing customer base. We’ve proven that we can extend clinical capacity and allow our customers to do more for patients at a scale that has historically been impossible. Now, we’re ready to bring that to every healthcare organization that needs it.”
Niren Gandra, CEO and Co-Founder, Thesis Care
“Thesis lets us deliver better care at scale – without the operational lift you’d expect. It takes real work off our staff’s plates, patients show up prepared, and care gaps get closed. What sets Thesis apart is the human care team behind the agents – that combination of automation and human judgment is what takes patient care to another level. The ROI speaks for itself.”
Shaivali Shah, SVP of Operations, Allied Digestive Health
“As we scale USHV, we look for partners who can deliver on innovation and execution. Thesis’s combination of AI agents and care team experts allowed us to deploy solutions quickly with minimal internal lift, resulting in a tangible reduction in administrative burden and strengthened practice support.”
Mike Plantz, Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations, U.S. Heart & Vascular
“Thesis has developed a fundamentally unique platform that addresses clinically deep, complex workflows. We are proud to continue our partnership with the Thesis team as they build the infrastructure for the future of scalable care delivery.”
