THNDR announced that gaming industry veteran Nancy MacIntyre has joined the company as a strategic advisor.
MacIntyre will advise THNDR’s leadership as the company brings more operators onto its skill games network. THNDR is a B2B player-vs-player skill-gaming platform that provides tournament and matchmaking infrastructure for iGaming operators.
MacIntyre brings more than 25 years of experience in gaming and digital entertainment. She recently served as CEO of WorldWinner, a competitive skill-gaming platform that developed FanDuel’s skill gaming app, FaceOff.
Before WorldWinner, MacIntyre held senior leadership roles at LeapFrog, LucasArts, Atari, and Hasbro. Over her career, she has launched more than 100 games and 11 No. 1 titles, generating over $2 billion in revenue.
MacIntyre also co-founded and led Fingerprint, a global provider of digital content for children that was later acquired by Sandbox & Co.
THNDR provides a white-label skill games layer that operators can add to their platforms to improve player engagement. The company works with sportsbooks, daily fantasy sports platforms, lottery apps, and other operators, earning revenue on every game.
THNDR said its platform has powered more than 160 million games played, with a 99.99% fill rate and more than 25 partners live.
The company said MacIntyre’s experience scaling real-money skill games is directly aligned with THNDR’s strategy as it expands its operator network and competitive gaming roadmap.
THNDR plans to share more details about its competitive gaming roadmap in the coming months.
