Thoma Bravo and Google Cloud announced a strategic partnership to accelerate AI adoption across Thoma Bravo’s portfolio of enterprise software companies.

The collaboration will provide Thoma Bravo’s portfolio companies with access to Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure, including Gemini models and the Gemini Enterprise platform, along with dedicated engineering support to help integrate advanced AI capabilities into their products.

The partnership also creates new go-to-market opportunities through Google Cloud’s Marketplace and co-selling programs, enabling portfolio companies to scale distribution and reach enterprise customers more effectively.

A key focus of the collaboration is cybersecurity, where Thoma Bravo’s portfolio companies will work with Google Cloud to address emerging AI-driven threats. The initiative aims to strengthen defenses beyond traditional code-level security by addressing broader risks across identity, access, and system-level vulnerabilities.

Thoma Bravo’s cybersecurity portfolio, which generates approximately $8 billion in total revenue, includes companies such as Proofpoint, SailPoint, Darktrace, Ping Identity, Sophos, Imprivata, and Exabeam.

The partnership reflects a broader industry shift toward AI-first enterprise software, where companies are embedding advanced AI capabilities into core product architectures to improve performance, automation, and customer outcomes.
