Thompson Coburn Welcomes Amol Bargaje as Chief Information Officer

Thompson Coburn has named Amol V. Bargaje as its new Chief Information Officer. Bargaje will oversee information technology services for attorneys and business professionals across the firm’s offices nationwide and will be based in Chicago.

Bargaje brings more than 15 years of chief information officer and executive-level leadership experience across major Am Law firms, with expertise spanning enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data strategy, and legal technology. He most recently held a senior innovation leadership role at Mayer Brown LLP, where he helped shape enterprise technology strategy and led digital transformation initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held chief IT and innovation roles at Sullivan & Cromwell and Jenner & Block.

Throughout his career, Bargaje has directed large-scale infrastructure modernization efforts, data platform transformations, and artificial intelligence-enabled workflow improvements to enhance productivity, collaboration, and client service. In his new role, he will work closely with firm management, practice group leaders, and business professionals to advance technology strategy, security, and operations.

Bargaje earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
