TIC Holding Schweiz AG has acquired a stake in Vibro-Consult AG, adding a Swiss market leader in vibration and machinery diagnostics to its growing platform of accredited testing, inspection, and calibration services.

The buyer, TIC Holding Schweiz, describes itself as a “buy, build and technologize” platform financed by Winterberg Investment X and managed by Winterberg Advisory GmbH. Terms of the investment and the size of the stake were not disclosed.

Vibro-Consult, headquartered in Brugg in the Canton of Aargau, is an independent Swiss SME founded in 1988. The company specializes in vibration and measurement technology and provides diagnostics for rotating machinery used in power generation and industrial environments, including hydropower, steam and gas applications. Its services include high-precision vibration analyses, condition monitoring, root-cause analysis, balancing of rotating components, and the design of monitoring systems for assets such as turbines, generators and pumps. TIC Holding Schweiz and Winterberg said Vibro-Consult is the clear market leader in Switzerland and supports customers internationally.

The transaction is positioned as part of a broader consolidation strategy. Winterberg said it is actively pursuing acquisitions in the sector of accredited testing and calibration services and is in discussions with additional companies, with TIC Holding Schweiz targeting small and medium-sized businesses, often in succession situations, as it builds a Swiss-focused corporate group.

Both parties emphasized continuity for customers and staff. Vibro-Consult said existing customer contacts will remain in place following the closing, while TIC Holding Schweiz framed the partnership as a way to support Vibro-Consult’s next phase of growth by strengthening processes, structures and technology adoption across corporate functions.

The companies also pointed to potential operational synergies, particularly around mechanical calibration and testing. Vibro-Consult’s leadership said it expects results from these efforts as early as 2026.
