Tickets For Good Raises £3.9 Million To Expand Live Event Access And International Reach

Tickets for Good has raised £3.9 million in new funding to expand its platform, reach more users internationally and create additional jobs in Sheffield over the next three years.

The social-impact ticketing platform provides access to live events for people including healthcare workers, teachers, charity workers and individuals experiencing financial barriers. The company said it has now distributed more than 1.25 million tickets, helping people attend entertainment and cultural experiences they might otherwise miss.

The financing was backed by NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance, managed by Mercia Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, along with Shaping Impact Group (SI3), Finance Yorkshire, LeanSquare and private investors.

Henrietta Street Capital advised Tickets for Good on securing the investment.

The company said the new funding will help it reach more people internationally while supporting further expansion of its Sheffield workforce over the next three years.

Tickets for Good’s model relies on partnerships with artists, venues, promoters and ticketing companies that make unused or specially allocated tickets available through the platform, helping fill seats while extending access to audiences who might otherwise be excluded.

The company’s latest funding follows growth that has taken its cumulative distribution to more than 1.25 million tickets, giving the business a larger base from which to expand the model into additional markets.
