Tiger Infrastructure Partners Makes Growth Investment In Raptor Waste Solutions

By Amit Chowdhry • Dec 5, 2025

Tiger Infrastructure Partners has completed a significant growth capital investment in Raptor Waste Solutions, an integrated waste logistics platform serving the Greater Kansas City region. The investment marks a significant expansion milestone for Raptor, which was founded by Shawn Polowniak and Kit Starr and currently operates two transfer stations and a hauling business. Both founders will retain a meaningful equity stake as part of the transaction.

Raptor Waste Solutions has developed a patented transfer station design that improves efficiency and enhances the customer and community experience. The company provides integrated waste operations across residential, commercial, industrial and construction segments in a market that continues to see increasing demand for modern, scalable waste infrastructure. Tiger Infrastructure’s involvement is expected to support the development of new transfer stations, the expansion of hauling operations, investments in technology upgrades and enhancements in workforce development.

The investment arrives during a period of rapid operational momentum for Raptor, with its existing facilities delivering reduced turnaround times, improved service levels and measurable cost efficiencies for customers. Tiger Infrastructure cited these strengths, along with the platform’s growing pipeline of expansion initiatives, as key drivers of its backing.

Kingston Capital Management also joined the funding round, and its president, Josh Packwood, will take a seat on Raptor’s board. The transaction was supported by Latham & Watkins LLP as legal advisor and Raymond James as financial advisor to Tiger Infrastructure. Polsinelli Law Firm served as legal advisor to Raptor.

Raptor Waste Solutions, based in Grandview, Missouri, continues to build a platform designed to modernize and scale regional waste management. Its assets include Raptor Transfer in south Kansas City, the Northland site positioned for expansion in north Kansas City, and My Dumpster Guy, a hauling service operating in both Kansas City and Florida. With demand rising for sustainable and efficient waste systems, the company plans to leverage Tiger Infrastructure’s backing to accelerate its growth trajectory and strengthen its impact across the region.

“Raptor delivers an essential service through its strategically located network of assets that are underpinned by significant barriers to entry and a differentiated value proposition. We believe the company is well-positioned to capture outsized growth from rising waste volumes and long-term industry tailwinds as landfill capacity declines and disposal shifts away from population centers.”
