London-based live commerce platform Tilt announced a $26 million funding round as it looks to accelerate the development of AI-powered tools for buyers and sellers while expanding across Europe and into the United States. The round includes participation from new investor Vinted Ventures alongside existing backers TQ Ventures, Balderton Capital, Earlybird, Seedcamp, and others, bringing Tilt’s total funding to more than $50 million.

Founded in 2021 by former Revolut employees Abhi Thanendran and Neil Shah, Tilt is building a platform that combines live video shopping with AI-powered infrastructure designed to simplify selling and improve product discovery. The company enables sellers to host live auctions while interacting with buyers in real time, creating a more social and engaging shopping experience than traditional e-commerce marketplaces.

According to the company, its AI capabilities are embedded throughout the platform. Features include Snap, which can transform a product shown during a livestream into a complete listing within seconds, a real-time AI copilot that assists sellers with pricing and customer interactions, natural-language search across live streams, and automated content clipping that turns livestreams into shareable content.

Tilt said it has grown eightfold since its 2024 Series A round and now operates across the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, and Poland. The company reported that buyers spend more than an hour per day on the platform, with approximately 70% returning each week and repeat buyers accounting for around 70% of monthly gross merchandise value.

The company also highlighted a growing base of entrepreneurs using the platform to build businesses through live selling, including sellers who have generated six- and seven-figure revenues. According to Tilt, its buyer-paid fee model allows entrepreneurs to launch businesses without significant upfront capital, websites, or advertising budgets.

The new funding will be used to accelerate Tilt’s AI roadmap, expand into additional markets, grow its seller community, and continue scaling its team.
