Timeshifter announced new funding led by Skip Capital, bringing its total funding to $5.3 million as the company expands its circadian technology platform into new markets beyond travel.
The round includes participation from investors such as Nico Rosberg, Michael López-Alegría, and Brian Kelly, reflecting a mix of strategic backers aligned with the company’s focus on performance, health, and travel.
The funding will support Timeshifter’s expansion into shift work and healthcare, where circadian disruption has significant impacts on safety, performance, and long-term health outcomes. The company is building solutions that translate complex circadian science into practical tools designed to improve sleep, alertness, and overall well-being.
Timeshifter’s flagship product, the world’s most-downloaded jet lag app, has reached more than 1.6 million users globally and is used in partnership with major travel providers including United Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. The company reports that users who follow its guidance experience significantly lower rates of severe jet lag.
The company has also launched a dedicated app for shift workers, addressing a global workforce segment where nearly one in five individuals face challenges related to irregular schedules. The platform is already being adopted across industries, including healthcare, energy, logistics, and transportation.
Beyond consumer applications, Timeshifter provides concierge services for elite athletes, astronauts, and teams, supporting performance optimization in high-stakes environments such as professional sports and space missions.
With growing recognition of circadian biology as a critical factor in human performance and health, Timeshifter is positioning itself at the forefront of a category expected to see broader adoption across industries.
KEY QUOTES:
“We have known for decades that circadian clocks govern nearly every function in the human body, from sleep and alertness to metabolism and immune function. The human and financial costs of ignoring circadian biology have been staggering. People crossing time zones spend the first days of their trips fighting jet lag. The safety and health of shift workers are compromised. Athletes are competing when their bodies aren’t peaking. Medications and treatments are mistimed, reducing their efficacy. At Timeshifter, we’re building the missing layer in human performance, safety, and health – circadian timing and control.”
Mickey Beyer-Clausen, Co-Founder And Chief Executive Officer, Timeshifter
“In Formula 1, the difference between winning and losing often comes down to the smallest margins. During my championship campaign, I remember having that extra bit of capacity, brainpower, and energy left for the crucial moments. Anything extra you can bring to the table can make all the difference — and I’m sure that extra edge was part of why I won the World Championship.”
Nico Rosberg, Investor, Timeshifter
“As a founder, I have seen first-hand how unlocking human potential can transform individuals, teams and businesses. Circadian technology offers a new way to do just that – helping people perform at their best, stay healthy, and thrive. I’m excited to see Timeshifter turning cutting-edge circadian science into simple, powerful tools that can improve billions of lives.”
