TimeSmartAI, a Canada-based healthcare technology company focused on physician contract compliance and compensation, has secured additional funding to accelerate the expansion of its platform and operations.
The round was led by Graphite Ventures, with participation from MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, Velocity Fund, Archangel Network of Funds, and a syndicate of strategic angel investors. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
The company will use the proceeds to expand its engineering and technical teams, accelerate product innovation, and enhance its AI-driven capabilities. It also plans to scale its customer success, sales, and support functions to meet growing demand from healthcare systems.
TimeSmartAI has recently achieved several milestones, including deployments within one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States and a major nonprofit health system ranked among the nation’s top five. The company’s platform has demonstrated the ability to scale across a wide range of care settings, from single-site hospitals to independent physician group practices.
The platform is designed to address the increasing complexity of physician contracts, which often include numerous variations, specialty-specific compensation structures, and intricate payment models. By introducing greater transparency, automation, and auditability, TimeSmartAI helps healthcare organizations reduce administrative burden and mitigate compliance risks.
TimeSmartAI’s solution uses AI-driven algorithms to cross-check physician invoices and payments against contractual obligations, ensuring accuracy while reducing the risk of legal action and regulatory penalties.
