Titan OS, a Barcelona-based connected TV platform founded in 2023, announced it has raised €50 million in Series A funding to accelerate its mission of transforming how people discover content and how brands reach audiences on connected TVs. The round was led by Highland Europe, with participation from Mangrove Capital Partners and other investors.
Founded by Jacinto Roca (founder of Wuaki.tv, acquired by Rakuten) and co-founders Timothy Edwards, Miquel Barba, and Tobias Pfalzgraff, Titan OS is building an independent European alternative to dominant global TV operating systems. The company will use the new capital to advance product development and improve user experiences for consumers and ecosystem partners.
In just over two years, Titan OS has grown revenues 10x, expanded to 18 million+ active users, and secured licensing deals with major TV manufacturers including Philips, Sony, Vestel, and JVC. Its platform integrates content, technology, and advertising into a unified experience that supports TV OEMs, content owners, and advertisers.
Titan OS aims to reduce the 110 hours per year that consumers lose searching for content across streaming services. Its content-first approach delivers personalised recommendations and streamlined navigation across the homepage, EPG, and remote-control shortcuts.
For advertisers, Titan OS is leaning into a fast-growing market: global Connected TV ad spend is expected to exceed $38 billion by 2027. The company offers homepage, in-stream, and shoppable ad formats designed to reach hard-to-access audiences with high relevance.
With the new funding, Titan OS will deepen its position as Europe’s leading independent Connected TV OS, expand global OEM partnerships, and invest further in product innovation and advertising technology. The company employs more than 200 people across Barcelona (HQ), Amsterdam, and Taipei.
