Torque Capital Group has acquired Joe Gibbs Manufacturing Solutions from Joe Gibbs Racing and will rebrand the company as JGA Space & Defense. The business has historically been rooted in performance racing. It is now positioning itself as a focused supplier to the space and defense sectors, producing advanced specialty composites, assemblies for solid rocket motor propulsion systems, and precision-machined aerospace and defense components.
The new identity reflects the company’s sharpened commitment to delivering precision engineering and mission-critical products to the U.S. defense industrial base, including next-generation hypersonic rocket nozzle technologies. Torque Capital Group plans to provide significant financial and operational resources to accelerate the company’s growth, deepening its capabilities as a strategic supplier to leading space and defense innovators.
As part of its expansion efforts, JGA Space & Defense has secured approximately 60,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space in Huntersville, North Carolina. Operations in the new facility are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026, and the company has secured an option to double its footprint to meet anticipated customer demand. The expansion is expected to boost production capacity, support new manufacturing capabilities, and create additional jobs in the region.
The investment and facility build-out mark a significant milestone in JGA’s evolution as it expands its role in national security supply chains and advanced propulsion manufacturing.
