Totle, a Birmingham, Michigan-based crypto investing company has raised $1 million in a private funding round led by Arrington XRP — which is a hedge fund launched by TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington. NEO Global Capital and Goren Holm Ventures also participated in this round of funding.
According to Coindesk, Totle offers an API that allows crypto wallets such as Airswap, Bancor, ERCdex, EtherDelta, Ethex.Market, Kyber Network, OasisDEX, OpenRelay, Radar Relay, SharkRelay, Token Store, Uniswap, and weiDex to offer exchange functions such as payments, transactions, rebalancing, and arbitrage exploitation. Led by CEO David Bleznak, Totle also focuses on supporting several other decentralized platforms.
Here is a video of how Totle works:
“Since embarking on this journey, it has been an amazing experience witnessing the development of several applications utilizing our API. With the recognition from top investors, we’re most excited about the continued advancement of the global, impactful contribution we are making to decentralized economies,” said Bleznak, “We’re thrilled to join the portfolio of top blockchain institutional investors.”
With this round of funding, Totle will be hiring more developers. And 40% will go towards marketing and administration purposes.
“Totle is an important part of the future of the blockchain economy. Their platform enables users and organizations to initiate reliable, non-custodial transactions,” added Arrington.
And NEO Global Capital’s Tony Gu said that Totle has an opportunity to become a transformational business that provides an alternative to centralized exchanges.
There are about a dozen groups that are actively integrating the API into their software. And there are another 50 groups that are in line.
